Officials said two people working on electrical lines near the Mississippi River died on Thursday when their helicopters hit the lines, crashed into the battalion and caused a fire to the columns of black smoke.

No other injuries were reported in the accident near East Alton, Illinois, said CPL. Dallas Thompson of the Missouri Highway. East Alton is about 20 miles to the north by St. Louis. The accident occurred on a Missouri side of the river.

“The helicopter was working on these energy lines, hit the power line, and blew up,” said the witness, Adam Brigz, in a video seized from the crash. “There was a pilot, there was a worker, the helicopter blew up, fell, the battleship was shattered and exploded now.”

A spokesman for the Energy Company said that they have a subcontractor contractor who repair and replaces the lighting of the tower and the branding balls on lines.

“Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences with families and colleagues for the victims,” the spokesman said in a statement, adding that they will cooperate with the investigation.

Kyle Jins, a spokesman for St. Charles Province, said to help the St. Charles Province that the collision brought an immediate response from about ten agencies in Illinois and Missouri.

Matt Fischer, Vice President of the Fire Fire in Alton, said the nearby fire department that rushed on a boat to the crash site, and helped by a special tension boat helped to overcome the fire that frustrates the black smoke from the battalion.

The state patrol said that anyone who was on the battleship was when the helicopter was interested in it and the fire was extinguished. The river was closed to commercial traffic.

The head of the River Point Fire region, Rick Bender, said that the helicopter was destroyed at about 11 am on Thursday on the Mississippi River, about half a mile from Melvin Price and Dam.

Bandar added that federal agencies were on the way. The Board of Directors of the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Board of Directors will investigate the accident. NTSB said the investigator is expected to reach the site on Friday. The agency said the helicopter was MD 369, which is usually smaller.
