Artist Creates Ethereal Paintings With Reflective Gold Leaf
There are a few things that feel destroyed or luminous like gold. Interestingly, the magic of Kunkle with Gold Leaf started in the Louvre Museum – not with a specific plate, but with the museum’s ceilings.
“I was in the Louvre Museum, and I looked at the gilded ceilings,” Kunkle Explain. “I realized that I was more inspiring than those of the paintings hanging in the museum.”
