Boxing Results: Majority Duarte’s Decision Over Kenneth Sims Jr. In WBA Eliminator

Oscar Duarte (30-2-1, 23 ko) won a majority decision of a majority of 12 rounds for Kenneth Sims, JR (22-3-1, 8 KOS) in the goodness of WBA lightweight welter title on Saturday night at the University of Illinois in Chicago.

In the final minute of the seventh round, Duarte Sims had a corner with a combination of the jaw before Sims counteracted with the left hook at the bell. In the ninth round, Duarte had a good round until the final seconds, when Sims, off the ropes, landed a left hook to Duarte’s jaw.

In the tenth round, Duarte had a good round going to the body. In the last minute, Sims turned in the south -baw and landed several uppercut right to the body fixed. In the eleventh round, Duarte Sims followed around the ring with a good body attack.

In the twelfth round and final, Duarte was the striker, landing well for the jaw, while Sims counteracted him well into the body in fighting that could go either way.

At the Co-Chief Event, former WBA and WBC Lightweight Champion won Program (30-3, 24 ko) of a 10-round unanimous decision over Olympian and former IBF’s harsh weight champion Joseph Joseph ‘Jo Jo’ Diaz (34-8-1, 15 kos) in war.

In the final minute of the first round, Diaz landed left to the jaw, almost dropped a program, which barely managed to go through the round. In the final seconds of the second round, Diaz landed left on the jaw, getting progeny out at his feet at the bell.

Heavyweight Olympiad Joshua ‘Rocket’ Edwards (4-0, 4 Kos) beat Cayman Audie (4-2, 2 Kos) at 1:29 of the first round six rounds scheduled.

In the first minute of the first round, Edwards dropped Audie with a right on the jaw, taking an account 8 from referee Ben Rodriguez. He drove Midway, right from Edwards Audie across the ring to the ropes, forcing referee Rodriguez to fly.
