Boxing Results – Ugly Winning: Zayas clings and avoids his way past Garcia to WBO Gold

Xander defeated Zayas (22-0, 13 Kos) Jorge ‘Chino’ Garcia Perez (33-5, 26 KOS) by unanimous 12 round resolution to capture the title of WBO’s empty younger mid-mid-liver on Saturday night at Madison Square Garden Theater in New York City. Zayas spent the whole night holding and moving. Clinching Xander was excessive.

In the first three rounds, Zayas had the edge with Garcia finishing the third with a host. In the fourth through the eighth round, Zayas had the edge.

In the eleventh round, Zayas took another round. In the twelfth and final round, Zayas defeated Garcia.

The scores were 116-112, 115-110, and 119-109. Eric Dali was the referee.

At the Co-Chief Event, Bruce defeated ‘Shu Shu’ Carrington, JR (16-0, 9 Kos) African champion Wbo Mateus Heita (14-1, 9 KOS) by unanimous 12-Round resolution to win the WCP’s temporary featherweight title.

In the first three rounds, Carrington got his way with Heita. In the fourth round, it was a big round for Carrington. In the last minute, he opposed an injection with Uppercut right to Heit’s jaw. In the final seconds of the sixth round, Carrington landed a left hook to Heit’s jaw.

In the ninth and tenth round, Carrington continued to beat Heita to the punch. In the twelfth and final round, it looked like Carrington had excluded.

The scores were 120-108, 120-108, and 119-109. Doc Harvey was the referee.

Yan defeated Carlos Santana-Guerrero’s ‘dangerous’ featherweight (15-0, 12 kos) Southpaw Aaron Alameda (30-3, 17 kos) by unanimous 10-round decision to win NABO featherweight title.

In the third round, Santana dominated Alameda hurt in the final seconds with a combination to the head. In the sixth round, Santana shook Alameda with right on the jaw midway through the round.

In the ninth round, Santana landed a number of lead rights to Ben Alameda. In the tenth round and last round, Alameda has a bruise under his left eye at this time. Santana had fun in the final as Alameda followed around the ring, failing to cut off the circle, being counteracted for the entire round.

The scores were 100-90, 100-90, and 100-90. Shana Murdock was the referee.

Wbo Rohan ‘El Rayo’ Inter-Comnoren Champion beat Polanco (17-0, 10 Kos) Quinton ‘Quick Draw’ Randall (15-3-1, 3 KOS) by unanimous unanimous decision of a unilateral 10-rowd.

Super Flyweight defeated Steven Navarro (7-0, 5 ko) Christopher ‘Vago’ Rios (13-3, 7 Kos) difficult by unanimous eight-round decision.

In the third round, due to a conflict of heads, Navarro suffered a break on his left brow. Navarro is well ahead at this time. In the fourth round, Navarro changed to Southpaw, taking another round. In the fifth round, Navarro defeated Rios. In the sixth round, Rios continues to press Navarro, who has no injection, but compensates for him with counteracting both hands against RIOS.

In the seventh round, Navarro hurt Rios with Uppercut that ends the body in the last minute. In the eighth round and last, possibly the best with both leaving them all hanging out.

The scores were 77-75, 77-75, and 77-75.

Emiliano Fernando Vargas’ El General ‘EL General’ (15-0, 13 Kos) beat Alexander Espinosa (20-4-1, 9 kos) at 0:42 from the first round of eight rounds scheduled.

In the first round, Vargas took an injection of Espinosa and counteracted it with a solid right on the jaw, dropping Espinosa as referee Ricky Gonzalez was wiped away ten as Espinosa could not regain his feet.

Super Flyweight Southpaw Juanma ‘Juanmita’ Lopez de Jesus (3-0, 2 Kos) Jorge L. ‘El Leon Gonzalez-Sanchez (5-3, 4 KOS) at 1:14 from a four-round four rounds scheduled.

In the first round, after a minute, a counter left from Lopez on the jaw and down Gonzalez-Sanchez for an 8 account of referee Shada Murdock. With a minute to go, Gonzalez-Sanchez’s combo dropped. In the second round, their feet appeared to be immersed when Gonzalez-Sanchez went down when the referee Murdock appeared to stop what was a premature mismanager.

Julius ‘Chu’ Ballo (1-0) Brandan Ayala (2-1, 1 ko) featherweight beat by unanimous decision four.

In the first three rounds, Ballo was the edge. In the fourth round and last round, he could have gone either way.

The scores were 40-36, 40-36, and 40-36. Shawn Clark was the referee.
