Cameron Young gets a long -run PGA title with Windhiham’s championship winning
Greensbo, NC- Cameron Young recently won his first victory in the PGA tour on Sunday after the end of the second place, and made it look easy.
He had five straight birds early to build nine shots and their homeland to 68 years to win the Winddham championship with six shots.
The 1000 player who wins the recognized PGA Tour event, dates back to Willie Park at the BRISH Open 1860. It should have felt that it took 165 years of young men to win the largest number of opportunities he had since its rising season in 2022.
“I was waiting for it for a while,” said Young. “I didn’t think I would be emotional about it. But it is the end of my fourth season. I passed my chances and I did not let her get away with me.”
There was no doubt about this.
He continued these five birds in a row with nine Pars in a row, a pair of a unique ghost in the end, he only cost him a chance in the championship registration record. End on 22-under 258, and the record set by JT Poston (2019) and Henrik Steinson (2017).
“Where do I go? I didn’t do this before,” Young said when he came out of the eighteenth green.
Mac Meissnner won folding. He shot 66 years to finish alone in second place, with a value of $ 893,800, which is enough to transfer it to the number 86 in the FEDEX Cup. He will not advance to the post -season, but it gives him a big boost to stay in 100 places in November to keep his full card.
Jackson Kevone Junior Jackson Kevone launched 67 -year -old and tied fifth, and got it at the next PGA Tour in September. The PGA TOUR card is postponed from the accelerated PGA Tour University program until next year.
It was not possible for victory to come better for young people, who is 28 -year -old New Yorker, whose biggest goal this year was the uniform in Pithabag Black for the Rider Cup.
Al -Nasr is only transferred to No. 15 in the Ryder Cup ranking, but it gets two other events in the FEDEX Cup to make his cause and strength an ideal occasion in Bethpage Black, where in 2017 he became the first amateurs to win in New York Open State.
“This team is a goal for many of us,” said Young. “Obviously, I love the opportunity to play. I have some opportunities to gain my way to the team.”
There was a lot of drama at Sedgefield Country Club, but not at the top of the leaders.
Young was ahead of five shots and fluctuating on the opening hole, making the ghost. But it was poured into a 8 -footed bird on the next hole, the beginning of five birds, respectively. He was the most he said the third hole, when Niko Ecavaria allowed the screaming and fist pump when he made a 30 -foot bird. Young people calmly responded to a 25 -foot bird and was a defeat.
The Wyndham Championship is the final championship for the normal season, which set the best 70 in the FEDEX Cup, which leads to the post -season that starts next week.
Ultimately, Chris Kirk only moved to the top of 70 with his neck tie in fifth place, and Wyong Hoon (missing) was the only one who fell.
But the last hour was not less than installation.
Davis Thompson needed the big end to move from No. 78 in the FedEx Cup, and he got it with a bird from within 50 feet only on the Par-5 15. Thomson missed equality with a length of 6 feet, and he moved him back to No. 71 by five points.
“It absorbs the end of the normal season in this way,” said Thompson.
The last place went to Matti Schmid from Germany, who entered the last week in No. 70 and remained significantly there. It was about to lose the pieces until the morning on Saturday morning to end the second round that was delayed by playing the last six holes in 5 below.
Then on Sunday, after he put him a double ghost in the fifth place in the fifth for his tour, Schmid, his last watermelon, has three holes from 25 feet, 10 feet and 25 feet, as he ended up to the St. Jude Fedex championship next week with a wallet of $ 20 million.
Schmid was hoping when he watched a fifteenth -year -old video panel.
“I thought,” well, this is not too far. “Then I made three birds, so I may have often seen them.”
No one is like a young man, a great talent and has a cup finally to show it. Not since David Duval got seven finishes in the PGA round before winning. It was more frustrated for young people that someone was always playing better.
The average registration of the final round in these runners -up finishes was 66.7. The other was in a match, where Sam Burns hit him with eight birds over the last 10 holes.
Young made it difficult for anyone to hit Sunday.
