Sterens, who led the front office to Al -Baroud before arriving in Mets after the 2023 season, was asked about the extent of his appreciation for the level in which his former team plays.

The Breweers team has the best MLB record and was the first team to reach 70 victories.

“I think every person in the baseball game looks at them and realizes that they are facing a great season,” said Steers. “They collected a truly talented team. It is a really good unit to prevent running, non -offensive, one to nine, they have a complete assortment that can overcome you in different ways. It is clear that it is a good team well. I like what they did.”

Does Stearns take any pride in seeing a team that helped him build success?

“No, I am here with Mets, and this team has handed over a handful since I was there,” Steers said. “I have good relationships with many people who are still there. They have done a tremendous job.”
