Therefore, my son and wife recently gave birth to their first child. We live very far, but when I heard that the child was born, I immediately fill my bags and went there. I really wanted to support them and meet my grandchildren.
When I arrived, my tankers crossed her arms and cut off, “How dared to come here after she missed the child’s shower!” The guard was caught. Yes, I missed the child’s shower – but only because I could not get a vacation. I told her in advance, she called for an explanation, and even sent a gift and flowers.
She thought she would understand, but she was clearly upset. Later, my son told me that the bathroom was on the anniversary of her mother’s death, and it was a really emotional day for her. She wanted to replace pain with joy, but it seems that my absence has restored all this sadness.
I am terrified now. I did not mean to harm anyone, but I also think I did my best in these circumstances. Should I do something different?
