Josh Kelly volunteers to end Turki Alalshikh’s search for Bakhram Murtazaliev’s opponent

Josh Kelly says he wants Turki Alalshikh to know he was open to fighting IBF’s junior mid -weight champion Bakhram Murtazaliev next.

Kelly’s next Fighting Money

That’s a smart move from Kelly to target fighting against Bakhram. If Turki is involved, he is likely to pay a much more money to Kelly than he would get fighting against Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis or 154-weight champion WBO Xander Zayas. Those are two of Kelly’s main options for his next battle.

If he can get a larger purse fighting against the next IBF Murtazaliev champion, it makes sense to go in that direction. Kelly’s manager Adam Booth has already revealed that Boots Ennis Champion Eddie Hearn has donated a Minimal Offer with a 24-hour deadline. The chances of that offer will be sweetened. It is pointless for Kelly to fight shoes unless Hearn wants to open his pig bank to pull $ 5 million out.

Fighting Ennis would be a difficult one for him. Against Zayas, Josh would have to deal with a lot of running and holding. If the fighting takes place in Puerto Rico, it may be necessary to hit Kelly to get the victory over Zayas. For the small purse probably Kelly would be offered to fight Xander, it would not be worth it.
