Keith Thurman calls Terence Crawford & Errol Spence for 2026 Ring Return
Keith Thurman says he wants to fight against Terence Crawford and Errol Spence in 2026. Thurman ‘One Time’ (31-1, 23 Kos) states that he is fighting later this year, he will be ready to do the “big fight” in 2026. He will wait for the contracts.
Spence, 35, has not fought in two years since his loss to Crawford in 2023, and he probably would have no interest in fighting Thurman if he came out of retirement. That’s going to nothing. Keith wanted to do anything with Errol’s fight when he was at the top of his game back in 2016 and 2017. Spence wanted to fight Thurman at that time, but there was no interest in ‘one time.’
Thurman, 36, has been too inactive over the last six years he has been considered a practical option for Bud. There is no interest in fans in that fighting because Thurman is considered an older fighter of the past generation. Although technically a year younger than the 37 -year -old Crawford, his inactivity and chronic injuries make him considered a fossil of a past.
“Fight Spence, Fight Crawford Bud, these fight in my generation, I think many fighting fans would understand why we make this fight happen. They’re a good fight,” Keith Thurman told Millcity Boxing for his desire to fight Errol Spence and Terence Crawford.
Crawford fights Canelo Alvarez in September, and is going to be getting huge money for the fight promoted by Riyadh’s season. If Terence does not retire after the fighting or receiving a re -dispatch, he would look for the most, most relevant name. That would probably be 154 against WLGC champion Sebastian Fundora.
“They already know that my style is harder to bud than the Spence style. I would like to run it one time in the game,” Thurman said of him never have the chance to fight Crawford. “We never saw each other in the area in the amateurs. At least we could see each other in the circle in the benefits.”
Thurman looked old and slow in his last fight against Brock Jarvis last March. Keith was coming off a three -year layoff, and the only thing he had was his power. That was still there, but the speed of his hand and foot had disappeared. He moved around the ring as he had rust in his joints.
“You (Crawford) came undisputed (in 147). I think we could make that fight (Bud and Spence) happen. That would be fun. I’m going to catch my job and wait for the contracts. Hopefully, very soon, we’re going to get something exciting we can be releasing for you.
“By the end of this year, we will be back to make a big and great fighting happen alone,” said Thurman.
‘One turn’ Thurman is unlikely to be about any “big” fighting by the end of 2025 or in 2026. It sounds secluded. Keith has only fought twice in the last six years, since 2019. His brittle body had had problems staying healthy to do through training camps.
