Make vs. Parker Queensberry Showdown: Manchester November 1st
Joshua Buatsi will face a lightweight heavyweight competitor Zach Parker in a 12-round triple header promoted by Queensberry on November 1st at the Co-op Live in Manchester, England. The event will be shown live on Dazn.
Olympian Buatsi (19-1, 13 ko) signed 2016 with Queensberry recently, and they put it in a position where he can get a victory under his belt to bounce back from his recent defeat against Callum Smith.
BUatsi was hardly matched in his last two fights, going up against Smith and Willy Hutchinson in a backup fight. He barely succeeded in fighting Hutchinson and then fell apart against Callum. Queensberry’s decision to accompany Buatsi against the very Beatable Parker (26-1, 18 ko) allows it to take a hoe from the grinding.
BUatsi signs new (19-1, 13 ko)
Buatsi is a #6 WBC and #7 WBO site. He wants a title shot, but he’s not going to do so without going through someone’s difficult, like David Morrell, Imam Khataev, Lopez Arlen, or Ben Whittaker.
Parker is a site #4 WBO, #12 WBC, and #13 IBF. He has won his last four contests against opposition at a domestic level since losing to John Ryder in 2022.
