Minnesota native, “RUPAUL’s Drag Race” to compete for “Project Runway”

“Project Runway” 21 will be shown in Freeform on Thursday night. The reality competition includes 12 contestants competing with a series of fashion design challenges. And this season, you will see Minnesotan on your screen.

Ethan Mondand from a small town outside Rothsters and studied theater and art production at Hamlain University. It is not strange on TV. Competition for “RuPaul’s Drag Race” as UTICA Queen. Mondand spoke with Minnesota now, one of the top producers Alyssa Kozntsov to talk about his experience in the show.

What age did you start designing and making clothes?

I started as a high school player and loved him. I liked the creation of imagination. I liked to become something else. And so when I entered the world of clouds, you were like, oh, it’s the same. It creates this imagination and creates this like a creature that can get people out of this world for a few minutes and to my country.

But I did not get the right to verify it, I could do things until I was in the “cloud race” when they were like them, I got this eye. Thus since then since “Drag Race”, I have been doing things, making things for girls, and making things for me, making them like things for their local icons. It was a bonus to be able to go on the world’s TV fashion design program, from the Queer TV of the World. So, like, I am invented.

What is the origin of UTICA?

I am from the countryside Hodk Uitika. Uitika, Minnesota. It is the small mini city of Minnesota, and when I was created in creating this, this creature, I thought, well, where is it? What is the story of its origin? She raised in a place that was very loving and gentle, so I wanted to bring them with me on the trip. Thus, the name of Uitika.

It is the brand. She is the queen she created. She is the artist. It is the hands that make everything. So my entity as a designer designer between the two, both of them are Uitika, the creature I created, as well as Ethan, the hands that are the designer.

Did you originate in Uitika affecting the direction of your career? Is there any effect on Minnesota on your design? Vanilla?

I grew up on a farm, so I have this type of “woven house, hard work” type of energy with my work. I grew up relatively religious, so I have a lot of sacred icons in my work, very large. I had to use my imagination to overcome the area of agricultural land. So many of my work, such as the archaeological, are a type of foreigner, a kind of other worldly magic. Because all of my origins were an escape. How can I make a magic thing about this space that I close?

Do you feel that you got a leg in a “project project” because you were a “cloud race?”

Oh, definitely. There was a feeling of ease in the “project runway project”. The “clouds race” is his own brutality. You have to do everything. You should be well fully and falling artists that you are a queen. Singing, dancing and behaving – you have to do everything. You have to be the brand. But “Project Runway” is very similar. You embody the brand and you make your hands to create the pieces in the width. So the high risks and banana is the cuckoo, and the madness that is the racing of clouds, I think, may have really translated into a “runway”.

What are you proud of more of your time in the “Project Project?”

I made it. I think I am very proud only to choose this choice in this offer. I think the most important part is similar, this will open the doors for a cloud community. As you know, I will be the first queen of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” on “Project Runway”. This is crazy. I can’t believe this has not happened before.

Only this jump on its own, I think it is really distinctive, and it will really allow queens to such a way, and we make it clear that we are not only, as you know, artists on the stage and in the green rooms, as you know, we are artists who can be in the main current and prove that Drag Inspeshs.
