My Boss Tried to Overwork Me, So I “Accidentally” Exposed Him / Bright Side

For a week, I haven’t heard anything. Then the entire office shocked what human resources revealed David. It turned out that he was rejecting his own responsibilities as he was crediting my accomplishments. I must say, I didn’t see it coming.
But then, the human resources called me. They said that David was guilty, no doubt, but they allowed me to leave. I also did not see that coming. The reason that made them “do not adapt to the company’s culture” and “not to deal with responsibilities properly.” It was brutal.
I wanted an explanation. Then the human resources representative said simply that they could not really trust a person who is bound by his boss, especially when the person is still under observation. She said my intentions were good, but the whole thing was very sensitive to ignoring him. So, what was it supposed to do?
