Planning to identify Palestine State a major change for British foreign policy

Jeremy Bowen, the international editor of the BBC, described the UK’s plans to identify the state of Palestine as the “major change for British foreign policy”.

Prime Minister Sir Kerm Starmer said that Israel did not take “important steps to end the terrible situation in Gaza” until the UK will recognize the state of Palestine at the UN meeting in September.

Speaking from Jerusalem, Bowen warned that Israel would meet all conditions, which includes a commitment to war and long -term peace process.
