Redemption Filip Hrgovic: Can stamina overcome against David Adeleye?

Filip Hrgovic says his amateur and professional experience will prove to be too much for David Adeleye to Britain’s heavyweight in their 10 -round battle on August 16th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Stamina-wise, there are many question marks about Hrgovic. He hated out in both of his last fights against Joe Joyce and Daniel Dubois. That problem will still be there on August 16th.

It’s a battle where Hrgovic, 33, has to prove that he can beat the heavy weight at this peripheral level. This is someone that the best heavy weight should be able to defeat without any problems. On paper, Adeleye does not have the skills and the pedigree needed to compete against Hrgovic unless he lost something of his game after his hitting loss to Daniel Dubois in June 2024.

Hrgovic-Adeleye fights on Moses Itama Vs Dillian Subcard on August 16th. The event will be shown live on Dazn PPV for $ 49.99. This fight is one of the more interesting on the card, and could be more exciting than the main event.

Adeleye (14-1, 13 ko) is thrown in with Hrgovic 2016 Olympic Bronze Medalist (18-1, 14 kos) in a big step up to the native of London. Already failed, being cast out by Fabio Wardley in 2023,

“I think I’m much more experienced as a professional and amateur. I think I’m at a different level, but all fights are a risk,” Filip Hrgovic told the Ring magazine channelSpeaking of his fight against David Adeleye on August 16th.

It’s a bad sign that Hrgovic was forced to go the distance 10 rounds to defeat Joe Joyce, 39, last April. That should have been an easy victory for Hrgovic, but his power was not good enough to give Joyce’s jaw.

“You can’t underestimate anyone. I train very hard, and I’m confident I’ll beat it. I recovered against Dubois,” said Filip. “I looked very bad. I think I’m one of the best fighters out there, and I’ve put my whole life in boxing.”

The last thing Hrgovic can afford is to ignore Adeleye because this man can punch. It’s not technically great, but it has power that could be a problem for Hrgovic if the fighting enters the second half.

“Twenty years in boxing, and I have, of course, a great desire to be a world champion. After that loss, this is my second attempt. Hopefully, I will do this time. I will do everything I can,” said Hrgovic.
