Regis Program suspects Terence Crawford’s chance against Canelo Alvarez in 168 lbs

Regis Program does not see any way in which Terence Crawford will defeat the undisputed large middle weight champion 168-Power Canelo Alvarez on September 13th. Program highlights that Crawford (41-0, 31 kos) jumps up two weight class, and not just a more fighter fight, but someone who is “so damning.”

Power concerns to Crawford

Crawford puts weight, but that extra size does not guarantee that it will get an increase in power. It doesn’t work that way. Fighters who bulk up are rarely stronger than they were when they were lighter. The extra weight slows them, causing them to get tired faster.

In the case of Crawford, only pressure goes against it. He has been inactic for a long time, out of the circle for a year, and has only been fighting annually since 2020. It has not shown the motivation to fight two to three times a year as other fighters do.

Lazy theory was examined

Is it laziness or his desire to enjoy himself for extended periods? If a person hates working and has been a millionaire for years, it is understandable why they would kick back. Whatever the reason, it doesn’t matter. Crawford has still been inexplicable, and is not a young 38-ish. He can say he was young for his age, but he did not look at him in his last fight.

He all looked at 38 when Israil Madrimov fought last August, and that was a year ago. Now, Terence could easily pass for 39. It will not be carded if he chooses to go to a liquor shop, that is for sure.

I marched on the size of Crawford

“I’ve ever been high on Crawford, but you’re fighting against someone so damningly good and big at the same time. Two sections,” said Regis I Program Millcity Boxing About what Terence Crawford is against, moving up two pressure classes to challenge Canelo Alvarez for his undoubted middle weight championship on September 13th. “It’s hard for me to say that Bud is going to win. I’ve been a Crawford fan.”

Crawford could have helped himself if he had used the year he has been out of the ring to move up to 168 and fought one of the competitors to stay sharp. Why didn’t it? One theory is that Crawford did not want to come into contact and show that it is too small, old, and is unable to make the pressure jump. In other words, fear.

The only other explanation because Terence does not do so is laziness. He did not want to do the hard work of returning to the training camp, bulk up, and have a hand.

“I know Crawford probably triggered with heavy weight,” said Regis. “But it’s always different when you get to a person, and that person can take your punch, and it depends on how well Crawford can take the punch from Canelo. Jermell (Charlo), looked more than Canelo, but then they fought, and you could see the difference. You could see the difference.”

It wasn’t just the size. When Jermell arrived in the ring with Canelo, he could not handle the power. Once he was hit by Canelo, he no longer wanted. He did not have that GGG hardness to stand in the pocket and fight Canelo.

Building Canelo: Challenge

“It’s different when you weigh someone,” said Program. “Jermell was bigger (than Canelo). It’s a big difference when you’re there with that person. We’re going to see that now. At the moment, Crawford looks the same as Canelo. Body-wise, he looks the same. He looks like Crawford is getting bigger.”

Terence is as big as Canelo, but his power will not be improved over what it was a year ago. When he bumped up and fought at 154 against Madrimov, Crawford was still punching as a welter weight. His shots had no effect. Against Canelo, it will be even more prominent.

“When you get to the circle, it’s always going to be different. Canelo is short and squatted. His neck is far out here. Canelo is built as a wrestler,” said Program.
