Shakur Stevenson press conference warning to Teofimo Lopez: “If I smack u, I’m wrong”

Shakur Stevenson responded to Teofimo Lopez’s job today about making him cry after his “Whoops”, and announced his next target, Ryan Garcia. Stevenson responded by saying that he would be in the wrong if he “smacked” at the press conference.
Would be completely out of character to Shakur to “Smack” Lopez at a press conference. If it is for theatrical purposes to create a hype in a WWE-ish way, Slap would work to create interest.
Fans laughed at Stevenson on social media about him trying to sound aggressive and standing on his back legs for once. It would only be happy if he and Teofimo were designed as a stage production.
Shakur’s comment about slapping Lopez at a press conference suggests that he comes ahead for himself. The fighting has not been signed, and may not occur. If the money is not there, it won’t happen.
Teofimo had confirmed with his post that he was still planning on Shakur’s next fighting (24-0, 11 KOS), although he was called out by Ryan today.
Stevenson should be happy that Lopez is still interested in his fighting, because conflicts against the king would be a larger one for payday. That would still rely on Turki Alalshikh.
Perhaps, he would be ready to overpay for Lopez vs Garcia’s game in the same way as he does with the Fighting Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford. That’s a battle that fans don’t ask for, and it won’t bring the same money paid for burs.
So if Turki is ready to overpaid for fighting Lopez-Shakur, it would be more than fighting Lopez vs Garcia. It only comes to popularity; Garcia’s game is the larger payday for Teofimo.
See now and I smack u at the press conference wrong https://t.co/csxnobbhf5
