The basketball player in Tolin Greg Glenn died on 22 in “tragic accident”

Men’s basketball player died in two rafts at the end of the week in a “tragic accident”, The school announced on Monday.

Greg Glenn, who started 34 games with green waves last season, was only 22 years old and was a pioneer in health and wellness from Bombano Beach, Florida.

The university did not issue details of his death, however Nola.com mentioned Glin drowned while swimming off the Miami coast with a friend.

The Vice President of Tulane Student Affairs, Sarah Caningham Glenn, described as a “infectious figure” and that he “ignited every room for her income.”

“He was a talented sports student who has allocated our lives with his spirit, dedication and passion for both sports and academics,” She said in a letter to the university community. “Greg was a prominent sportsman in our men’s basketball team, and the individual brings joy and light to those around him. He inspired his commitment to excellence.”

“Let’s remember Greg not only for his accomplishments in sport, but for the kindness and warmth that he shared with everyone. He will forever remain part of our university family.”

Glenn reached 10.6 points for each game while he was released 49.8 percent of the stadium last season for Noulan, where he ended the fourth highest scorer in the team.

He was second on the green wave in help and retreating with 5.3 and 3.1, respectively.

“Our program has been destroyed this morning when we learned of the death of the beloved GLENN III,” Tolin coach Ron Hanter said in a statement. “It was not just an exceptional athlete, but also a great person who brought energy, dedication and kindness to our team and our society. He will miss the spirit and passion for deeply, and our ideas with his family and friends during this difficult time. We will respect his memory by continuing to celebrate the influence he was all of us.”

Glin moved to Toulin after a student season with Michigan, an average of 9.7 minutes during the 2023-24 campaign before playing a larger role last season.
