Audrey crew becomes the first woman to receive neurlink implants
At the age of 16, the crew lost all the motor function. Now, at the age of 39, she is a part of the Prime Study of Neurolink, which tries Brain-computer interface (BCI) Technology in humans. Her chip, planting in her motor cortex, reads the brain signal and sends it to the computer. This allows her just using her thoughts and types of cursors and types.
In her own words, “They put a hole in my skull and put 128 threads in my motor cortex. The chip is in a quarter size.”
Although the chip does not restore the movement, she gives her something powerful: digital autonomy. She shared a picture of her signature on X and wrote, “I tried to write my name for the first time in 20 years. I have been working on it. Lol #neuralink.”
She expressed his gratitude for the medical team at Miami Health Center University. “They treated me like VIP and there are some sweet people I have ever met,” she said.

Kasturi confirmed her duty online: “Most people do not realize that this is possible.”
That single coat moved the Internet. Posts showing her skilled signature with more than 2 million scenes went viral quickly. The crew explains that the chip is only for “telepathy”, not mobility. But the level of control can also change the lives of people with paralysis.
NIRAB२ १ The fact is to help people with neurological conditions, established by Musc in 2016, to connect with the digital world in powerful new ways. The company is developing the BCI that allows users to control the device by using their thoughts only.
While in its early stages, this technology is already showing life -changing ability. Further, the neurlink imagines a future where thought-controlled computer becomes an everyday part of human life.

The neurlink test is extensive: P8 Nick Vara shares his brain chip experience
Crews are not alone on this trip. Another participant Nick Vray (P8) shared his progress after a few days of his own implant activation.
He wrote, “I have no level of digital autonomy for years.”
Diagnosis of ALS, Vere called Implant a chance to change life. He sees both of both personal and historical, writing at the moment, “It was not lost on me that I was never a candidate for this study without ElS.
