
The medical examiner will decide whether the shooting brain will be tested in New York City, Shin Tamura for CTE, says Adams
Mayor Eric Adams said on Tuesday that corrupt shooting brain can test Shin Tamura for chronic painful brain disorders while examining his body.
Adams told CNN that the office of the head of the city’s medical examiners in the city will determine whether the brain of the 27 -year -old former football player will be studied in CTE.
Adams said: “I, the medical examiner here in the city, would have taken this design on the following steps in cooperation with the provincial lawyer in Manhattan Province.”


Tamura, who was a high school football star, left observations that he claimed suffered from the condition of the brain, which was often the result of head strikes.
In an e -mail, the medical examiner did not abide by an investigation specifically CTE – but he said that the general examination of the brain would take place as part of the autopsy.
How did you reveal the shooting
- Reports on shooting at 345 Park Ave. Start around 6:28 pm
- Shin Shin Tamura, 27, comes out of a black BMW between 51 and 52 streets with a M4 rifle.
- He enters the hallway and turns to the right, where he shoots Police officer Didarol Islam, 36, is dead.
- Tamura starts from a woman roaming behind a column in the hallway, spraying more bullets and walking towards the elevator bank – where he shoots a security guard roaming his office.
- Another man is shooting and wounded in the hallway. He was in critical but stable condition.
- The gunman allows a woman to leave the elevators without getting harm before heading to the thirty -third floor, where the offices of the Rudin Properties owner, “begins walking on the ground, and shoots during his travel.”
- One man was shot and killed on that floor before Tamura launched himself in his chest.
- It is unclear how long the chaos lasted. Police Commissioner Jessica Tish Posted on X At 7:52 pm: “The scene was contained and the only shooting was neutral.”
When asked specifically about the CTE test, the medical examiner office said it was not possible to comment on an ongoing investigation.
