Trump says he will reduce the deadline of Putin for 50 days to end the Ukraine war
Washington-President Trump said on Monday that he is looking to reduce the 50-day deadline that gave Russian President Vladimir Putin to stop the war in Ukraine.
“I am disappointed by President Putin, with great disappointment,” the president said before his meeting with UK President Kiir Starmer in Scotland.
“So we will have to look, and I will reduce that fifty days – which I gave – to a lesser number, because I think I really know the answer to what will happen.”
On July 14, Trump threatened to negotiate the ceasefire with Ukraine in 50 days-or face brutal secondary sanctions that could surpass the Russian economy more.
Ukrainian President Folodimir Zelinski was open to Putin’s interview to negotiate the end of the three -year war, but the Kremlin was lukewarm about the Russian President’s sending to meet direct talks, and to choose to communicate with the lower employees first.
The meetings of the three Ukraine delegation, Russia, which were held in Türkiye in the past few months, have not succeeded in a ceasefire, but they led to the bodies of prisoners.
Meanwhile, Trump Putin contacted directly and tried to be a mediator in the war between him in Zelinski. He said that Putin tells him that he wanted to end the war, just to go to missile strikes on Ukraine.
“We thought we settled several times, after which President Putin comes out and begins to launch missiles in some cities such as Kiev and kill many people in a home to care for the elderly or anything else. You have corpses throughout the street,” Trump went in Scotland. “And I say this is not the way to do this. So we will see what is happening with that.
