
Ukraine drone attack kills one of them, and harms the industrial facility in Saratov, Russia says
The ruler said on Sunday that one person was killed, and many apartments and industrial facilities were injured in a Ukrainian drone on the southern Russian region of Saratov.
The Roman maturity was published on the Telegram messaging application, which was evacuated after a destroyed drone, three apartments were damaged in the attack overnight.
“Many residents need medical help,” he said. “Aid was provided on the site, and one person was transferred to the hospital. Unfortunately, one person died.”

The Ministry of Defense said that the Russian air defense units destroyed 121 Ukrainian drones overnight, including eight on the Saratov area.

Social media footage showed thick black smoke rising over the industrial zone.

The Ukrainian media, including the RBK-Ukraine media outlet, reported that the oil refinery in Saratov, the administrative center of the region, was burning after a drone.

There was no official comment from Russia.
Industry sources told Reuters that the RosNeft -owned ROSN.M refinery in Saratov was forced to suspend operations earlier this year for safety reasons after Ukrainian drone attacks.
The Telegram channel, which Russia, which often publishes information from sources in security services and law enforcement, has reported about eight explosions heard on Saratov and Engels, cities separated by the Volga River.
The Russian Civil Aviation Authority said in a telegram that flights inside and outside Saratov had stopped for about two hours on Sunday to ensure air safety.
The two sides deny the targeting of civilians in their strike on each other’s lands in the war launched by Russia with a complete invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
Kiev says its attacks inside Russia aim to destroy the infrastructure, which is a key to the efforts of the Moscow war, including energy infrastructure and military structure, and in response to the ongoing strikes of Russia.
