In 1995, it was opened by Yansi Richardson Primonial exhibition In the Soho neighborhood in New York. It didn’t take a long time until she moved to Chelsea, alive, by that time, many other opponents had already flocked. Over the next three decades, Richardson has managed to organize nearly 300 exhibitions, each of which is escalating in contemporary photography with an unprecedented focus. Now, the exhibition occupies 30 years – while both artists participate more than ever.
The celebration is 30 years Gathers created by all artists and real estate presented in the exhibition. These images include five decades of production through a variety of artistic methods, methods and visual topics, which range from the dramatic landscape presented in soft black and white tones, to mixed media compositions that include combined elements. Sharon Core Early American, lemonFor example, the aesthetics of the seventeenth century of the seventeenth century, where the lemon basket is depicted with a soft shine so that the painting is more like one image. Rachel Perry I lost in my lifeOn the other hand, it explodes in colors, and the width of a woman who has skipped what appears to be a huge dress. It is a delicious picture, and one of the most fun show scenes, where the entire frame is intersecting with a variety of thread.
This diversity is impressive in itself, but what distinguishes The celebration is 30 years It is its close cooperation with distinguished artists. The exhibition called on artists to choose work by their peers in the list “who they share with them with creative effects.” For example, Michalin, Thomas David Alejoji, chose, while Terry Ivanz Auri Girste chose. Richardson also chose herself work, as Lynn Jesamman and Sebasto Seljado chose, and the latter was the subject of the opening exhibition exhibition in the 1990s.
“I really feel that the artists are at the heart of the exhibition, so I asked all ( A recent interview with Wallpaper* Magazine. “They loved it! It was great to know who chose what.”
For these particular reasons, The celebration is 30 years More than just a souvenir. It is intimate in its perception after the sprawling parties in its scope, as it provides a comprehensive overview of the spirit of the exhibition over time.
“Since the day we opened our doors in 1995, the exhibition has been committed to the support and adoption of photography through the widest possible spectrum,” explains Richardson. “Although each of the same means and the understanding of society has changed dramatically over the past thirty years, it has sought to preserve the exhibition as a space in which these changes can be seen, felt, and interact with it.”
